UPDATED: Support our Give Play Program at our Nov. 10th Happy Hour and Silent Auction

he City of Oaks Foundation will partner with the INDY Week to raise money for our Give Play program through the on-line Give!Guide campaign, starting Wednesday, November 9th.

To kick off this campaign, the Foundation is hosting a special Happy Hour event on Thursday, November 10th from 5:30-7:30pm at the Busy Bee Cafe in Raleigh, at 225 S Wilmington Street. Donors who give on-line via the special Give!Guide Donation page – give.indyweek.com – (NOTE: PAGE NOT LIVE UNTIL NOV. 9TH), can attend the party, enjoy free appetizers, and get a gift bag of items from the Foundation.

Also, local supporters of the Foundation have contributed a number of generous gift packages, that will be available to the bidders as part of the event’s silent auction.

The Give!Guide Program aims to help fund and help promote local nonprofits by encouraging year-end giving. Give!Guide’s mission is to motivate giving from all people and from all corners, but especially from locals ages 18-35.  Anyone can donate to one or more of the Give!Guide’s participating nonprofits with a simple transaction through the INDY’s give.indyweek.com website.

All donors who give more than $20 will receive incentive prizes directly from the Indy, and the Foundation will provide the following extra incentives to donors:

All Donors of $10 or more on November 10th, will get free door prizes at our Happy Hour kick-off event and silent auction at Busy Bee Cafe / Mash & Lauter.
