This year, the 10th anniversary of the program, the Raleigh Environmental Awards Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 25th. Please join us for this free, public event from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the AJ Fletcher Opera Theater, 2 E. South Street, Raleigh, NC 27601. We will look back and recognize past honorees as well as celebrate leading individuals, businesses, and other organizations who are making outstanding contributions to the environmental stewardship of our community.

In addition to the Environmental Awards, the celebration will also include the announcement of mini-grants to local winners for innovative projects in Urban Agriculture. Grant recipients will report back this fall with the results of their work during Raleigh Urban Agriculture Day.

The Raleigh Environmental Awards program is a program of Raleigh's City Manager's Office of Sustainability, in partnership with the City of Oaks Foundation, and is made possible through the generous donations from local businesses that share a vision of responsible environmental management in the Raleigh community. These donations, both monetary and in-kind, make it possible to offer this event at no cost to attendees.
