Neighbors and garden enthusiasts can enjoy a sneak peek of the Joslin Garden on Open Garden Day, Saturday, April 23 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Garden guests are invited to enjoy a self –guided tour.

The City of Oaks Foundation awarded $27,000 to the City of Raleigh in 2015 through its Give Play program, designed to  support outdoor activities for the children of Raleigh. In partnership with Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department, the program awarded a total of 73 weeks of camps to 68 campers from 53 Raleigh families that otherwise would have been unable to participate in these programs.

The City of Oak Foundation has hired Chris Heagarty as its new Executive Director, effective November 3rd, 2015 to replace former Executive Director and Foundation President Kevin Brice.
