Kevin Brice stepped down from his full-time executive position with the Foundation in April of 2015 to become the Southeast US Director at the Land Trust Alliance. He continued to guide the organization on a part-time basis until the installation of a new Executive Director, and remains a Trustee of the Foundation.

Chris Heagarty is the former founding Executive Director of the North Carolina Center for Voter Education and recently served as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission. He is a long-time Raleigh resident and advocate for preserving Raleigh’s green-spaces and quality of life.
