Urban Agriculture Grant Winners Announced
at 2016 Raleigh Environmental Awards Program
The City of Oaks Foundation was honored to present Urban Agriculture Awards to seven local grant recipients as part of the 2016 Raleigh Environmental Awards Program. The event, hosted by the City of Raleigh’s Office of Sustainability and the Raleigh Environmental Advisory Board was held April 21, 2016 at the Glenwood Club in Raleigh.
The Foundation will promote the work of each of these organizations as examples of innovative local projects in our community to teach and inspire others to get involved in the community garden and urban agriculture movement. Each grant recipient presented a proposal for a project to be completed this year.
